Week 1: Foundations & Bellows Control
Focus on basic posture, key geography, and uniform pumping. Play only the Shuddha Swaras (Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni). Practice making each note sound continuous and clean. Dedicate 20 minutes daily.
Week 2: Flat & Sharp Swaras (Komal & Tivra)
Introduce Komal Re, Ga, Dha, Ni, and Tivra Ma. Practice alankars that alternate between Shuddha and Komal notes to train your ear to recognize intervals.
Week 3: Speed & Alankars
Practice double-note patterns and three-note runs. Introduce a metronome, starting at 60 BPM and aiming for clean key strikes without slurring notes.
Week 4: Your First Songs & Raags
